We are based in Fort Lauderdale, FL, and we connect businesses with funding across the entirety of the U.S. Being a Florida shop does not narrow the map. If you want to check whether we cover your industry, or you would rather ask something before applying, call 1 (866) 777-0535.
Sterling Street Financial has been guiding entrepreneurs to the right funding since 2021. The founders behind it have worked in business financing since 2014, which is where most of the knowledge of which funder writes what has come from. Small business funding is the center of what we do, and it has been the focus since the start. Everything else we offer exists to support that same work.
One application reaches an extensive network of funders rather than one bank, so you end up comparing offers instead of accepting or declining a single answer. You see what each one costs, how each one repays and what each funder wants from you before you decide. There is no cost or obligation for the conversation, and no fee to apply.
Yes. Sterling Street Financial operates as its own brand under Monera Capital ownership. The name, the team, and the application process are unchanged. One application still brings back offers from our extensive network of funders for you to compare.
We work with a diverse network of funders offering over 10 different business funding programs, so one conversation can surface several routes rather than a single yes or no. The products we most often match businesses with are Business Lines of Credit, Bad Credit Business Loans, Working Capital Loans, Equipment Financing, Business Term Loans, Merchant Cash Advances, SBA Loans, and Invoice Factoring.
Between them, those eight cover most of what a small business needs money for; the rest of the programs in the network are variants your funding specialist will name if your file fits one.
Either way works — send the application and a funding specialist takes it from there, or call first and we walk through it with you before you fill anything in.
Yes. We have helped a lot of folks who had some trouble with their credit, prior bankruptcies, and even tax liens. Put the situation on the application rather than leaving an underwriter to find it, because it changes which funders we approach first.
Yes. Several of the programs in our network are written against revenue rather than against the credit file, which is the position most owners are in when a stretch goes badly. Tell us what the money is for and we will point the application at the funders most likely to look at it.
While we don’t typically fund startups, businesses that have been operational for at least three months and can provide documentation of their sales history are encouraged to apply. Our application process is quick and straightforward.
Yes. Approvals through our extensive network of funders start at $5,000, so a smaller request is a normal request here rather than an exception we make. Nothing about the process changes at the low end: one application still reaches the funders whose programs fit what you are doing, the offers still come back side by side for you to compare, and there is still no fee to apply. Ask for the amount you actually need. Rounding a request up to clear somebody’s minimum is how a manageable repayment turns into an awkward one.
Our network of funders can approve and fund your request in as little as 24 hours. On average, funding is received within 2-4 business days.
No, we do not charge any fees to apply for our business programs.
We do not directly charge any additional fees. Any potential fees associated with your loan will be clearly communicated to you by your funding specialist.
It depends on which shape of funding you land on. Programs quoted as an interest rate — term loans, lines of credit and SBA loans — start as low as Prime + 2.75% on the SBA side. A merchant cash advance is quoted as a factor rate instead: at a factor of 1.4, a $50,000 advance repays $70,000. Invoice factoring is priced off your invoices, with funders advancing 85–90% of their value up front. The exact cost you are quoted depends on the program, the funder and your file — and because offers come back side by side, you see all of it before you choose anything.
No. Checking your funding options with Sterling Street Financial does not impact your credit score. There are no application fees either, and nothing that comes back obliges you to accept it.
Ready to see what your business qualifies for? Start your application — it takes a few minutes and costs nothing.
Yes on both, and in most cases it costs you nothing. Many of the funding programs in our network allow extra payments when business is good, so a strong month can go straight against the balance rather than sitting in the account, and we believe in providing options that best suit your business needs. There are no fees or penalties for early repayment. In fact, we often work with our funders to provide a discount for early repayment, and on many programs that early-payoff discount is money saved rather than money merely moved forward. The one program to ask about specifically is a merchant cash advance, where the cost is a fixed factor rate set at the outset rather than interest that accrues as you go — some funders in our network do offer an early-repayment discount on those, and it is worth asking before you sign. Tell your funding specialist how you expect to repay and we will weight the comparison toward the programs that give you that flexibility.
Your funding specialist will work closely with you to review your account and find a program that fits your needs without overextending your business.
Be careful with this one. Taking a second advance while the first is still deducting is called stacking, and it compounds the daily deduction faster than most owners expect, which is why a lot of funders decline it outright. The better route is to tell your funding specialist about the existing balance up front rather than leaving it to be found later. With the full picture in hand, some programs in our network can replace or consolidate what is already running instead of stacking on top of it, and whatever comes back is sized against the cash your business actually has left after the current remittance.
Funding without a personal guarantee is available across several of our programs, and we can filter the offers we bring you to the ones that don’t require one. Some programs — SBA loans in particular, where the government program itself requires a personal guarantee from a business's principal owners — do ask for a guarantee or collateral. Whichever offers come back, a funding specialist will tell you exactly which ones carry a guarantee before you choose anything.
To expedite the approval and funding process, we recommend submitting all requested documentation within one day of submitting your initial application.
The application itself takes a few minutes and asks for no documents at all, so you can send it before you have gathered anything. Once a funding specialist has read the request and the funders in our network come back with offers, most programs ask for a short set of supporting documents at that stage: typically a driver’s license, recent business bank statements and a voided business check. Equipment financing usually adds the invoice for the machine you are buying, and an SBA loan carries a heavier file than anything else on this site. Returning whatever is asked for within a day is the single biggest thing you can do to speed an approval up.
We offer flexible repayment options to suit your business needs, including daily, weekly, semi-monthly, and monthly repayments.
No. Nothing about your existing payment setup has to change to take an advance repaid from card sales.
